If you’re someone who enjoys trips that feel easy, a little unplanned, and still somehow come together beautifully, Belize might be exactly that kind of place for you.
I spent time between Belize City and San Pedro, and what stood out most wasn’t how much I did—it was how natural everything felt.
Some days looked like beach clubs, golf cart rides, and long lunches by the water. Other moments were quieter, walking through the city, trying local spots, or just letting the day unfold without overthinking it.
San Pedro, especially, made it easy to lean into a slower pace. It wasn’t about doing the most, it was about enjoying where I was while I was there.
Below are the guides from each part of my trip.
A Few Things to Know Before You Go
Don’t Overplan It
Belize isn’t the kind of place where you need a packed itinerary. Some of the best parts of the trip were the moments I didn’t plan at all.
Choose Your Pace
Some days might look like exploring or booking an experience, while others might just be slow mornings, good food, and being near the water. Both work here.
Keep It Simple
Getting around, choosing what to do, even deciding where to eat—it’s all easier when you don’t overcomplicate it.
