Are you someone with an unwavering passion for travel and discovering places that almost don’t feel real? If so, Vietnam may be your next adventure!

Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or preparing for your very first trip, Vietnam has something to offer — rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable experiences.

For a total of 24 days, I embarked on a solo journey through Vietnam, starting from the south and heading north. Here, I’m sharing a few tips, plus the highs and lows I encountered along the way.

Tips to get you started:

Plan Ahead

Before you travel, spend some time researching key locations, must-see attractions, and unique experiences you can’t miss. A rough itinerary will help you make the most of your time and ensure you capture the essence of Vietnam.

Focus on Storytelling

Rather than simply moving from one site to the next, look for ways to weave a story through your experience — whether it’s food, local culture, or connections you make along the way.

Pay Attention to Details

Vietnam’s beauty is in the details: a quiet alley, a lantern-lit night market, or an unexpected temple on a winding road. Take your time to frame your photos or videos thoughtfully.

Curate Your Vibe

The right soundtrack or mood can elevate not just your content, but your whole journey. Whether you’re capturing footage for yourself or social media, lean into what feels authentic to your experience.

Coming Soon: Full Vietnam Itinerary

In my full itinerary (coming soon!), I’ll break down exactly where I stayed, how I got around, and everything I wish I’d known before visiting — including pro tips and some surprising moments along the way.
